Moja "klepsydra"  właśnie ukazała się w The  Mainichi Daily News:

ustawiam do góry nogami
klepsydrę

  1. To write a haiku about time is the most difficult task. You managed it.

    Congratulation!

    1. I apreaciate your comment so much, Rudi.

I tried to grasp a transitory visual aspect of time through a lifeless sand to catch a sort of foretaste of eternity. Just trying.
But the sand goes on and on and on...

      One more TIME: thank you.

  2. Leszku,

    serdeczne gratulacje!
    I trochę w innym aspekcie:

    klepsydra--
    coraz więcej piasku
    na dnie

    Pozdrawiam,
    Magda :-))

  3. Madziu,

    Serdeczne dzięki. :-)

    I w tym samym aspekcie:

    zamarznięta rzeka -
na samym dnie coraz więcej piasku
    w klepsydrze

    Pozdrawiam,
    Leszek :-)

  4. Tak miało być:

    zamarznięta rzeka -
    na samym dnie coraz więcej
    piasku w klepsydrze

  5. Dear Lech,

certainly this haiku is interesting for you:

    sandstrand
    so viele stundengläser
    zeit
    (René Possèl, Germany)

The "haikuscope" is a website on a high level, managed by Gerd Börner, Michale Denhoff and Hubertus Thum.

    I try to translate:

    sandy beach
    so many hourglasses
    time

René Possèl had a similar experience. I appreciate this haikuist very much. Unfortunately he doesn't write in English.

  6. Dear Rudi,

Certainly it is. Thanks so much for this one.

I know the "haikuscope" site just by sight.:-)
I wish I could read German as well as you.

Topic of René Possèl's haiku (beach and clepsydras) was theme what i thought about while writing my reply for your comment on my haiku.

Thanks for sharing this poem with me. Very truly and good one.
