wedding anniversary

Poniższy tekst stworzył mój przyjaciel, który z haiku niewiele ma wspólnego - choć trudno w to uwierzyć.

rocznica ślubu
staruszka ugina się
pod ciężarem chryzantem

wedding anniversary
the old woman yielding
under the chrysanths' weight

wiosenne ożywienie | spring fever

wiosenne ożywienie -
guzik ciężarnej
sam się rozpina

spring fever
the button of pregnant
unbuttoning itself

Ciekawego określenie na "ciężarną" użył w swoim haiku Ron Moss : "a soon-to-be mum". Mimo że jest to dość często spotykane określenie przyszłej mamy, zrezygnowałem z powtórzenia tego wyrażenia. Gdybym był pewny na 100%, że to będzie syn... Kto wie...

An interesting description of  "pregnant" was used by Ron Moss in his haiku: "a soon-to-be-mum". Even though it is quite often used for description of a future mom, I've gave up on repeating that expression.
If I were 100% sure it would be a son... Who knows...

Polish expression "nabrać wody w usta" means:

1. as a idiom - 'to keep one's mouth shut'
2. literally - 'to take water in the mouth'

1.

the stone Buddha

2.
