Following Basho's pond : Inspiration, paraphrase, or plagiarism - Idąc w ślad za Basho i Leśmianem: inspiracja, parafraza czy plagiat

The interesting question rises about intertextuality of texts, about a role of different types of literary relations and borrowings from other haiku or poetry.

Well, if, knowing Basho's pond and the opening two lines from the Polish poet Lesmian's poem In the sun,

old pond. . .
a frog leaps in
water’s sound

Translated by William J. Higginsond

Following a hawk flight,
The lake braethes in the silence.

Bolesław Lesmian
In the sun from collection The orchard at crossroads (1912)

I would send to a haiku magazine or for some competition such this three-liners:

ancient pond
following a frog jump
breathing in the silence

would it be considered as an inspiration?

Maybe I have just made a "poetic compilation"?

Or would my haiku be thrown into a sack labeled "camouflaged plagiarism" ?

Who knows.

Naturally, I've got a favored answer.

Bardzo interesująca kwestia powstaje w związku z intertekstualnością tekstów, zależnościami literackimi i wszelkiej maści zapożyczeniami z haiku, jak i z innych wierszy.

Otóż, gdybym, znając słynne haiku Basho o stawie i pierwsze dwa wersy wiersza B. Leśmiana "W słońcu",

stary staw                         stary staw
wskakująca żaba               wskakująca żaba
dźwięk wody                      w dźwięk wody (wodny dźwięk)

Jastrzębi śledząc lot,
Jezioro ciszę wdycha.
Bolesław Leśmian
W słońcu ze zbioru Sad rozstajny (1912)

wysłał do magazynu haiku albo na jakiś konkurs takie oto moje trzy wersy:

stary staw
śledząc żabi skok
ciszę wdycha

to byłaby to jedynie inspiracja?

A może dokonałem tylko poetyckiej kompilacji?

Czy to haiku można byłoby wrzucić do worka z napisem
"zakamuflowany plagiat
"?

Kto wie.

Oczywiście, posiadam ulubioną odpowiedź.
