[...] bardzo mało jest ludzi, którzy mogą tłumaczyć poezję Wschodu - ponieważ nie wystarczy znać te języki. To jest permanentny problem tłumaczenia z obcych języków. Gdyby ci, którzy znają dany język, równocześnie byli kwalifikowanymi poetami, życie byłoby bardzo proste. Ale tak nie jest.

[...] Nie chcę krytykować, ale wiem, jak dużo istnieje dzisiaj przekładów pozornych, tzn. czytelnikowi się wydaje, że zna dany utwór, a to tylko złudzenie.

[...] there is a little amount of people who can translate Oriental poetry, for it is not good enough to know these languages. That is a permanent problem of translating from foreign languages. If those who knows that language, at the same time, were fully qualified poets, life would be very simple. But they aren't.
[...] I don't want to criticize, but I know how many apparent translations exist today, i.e. it seems to reader that he knows that poem, but that's just a delusion.
